Marjorie Failoni In Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade!

Marjorie Failoni (High School Musical Choreographer) is in a NYC 80s-tribute dance company, the Spangles, who performed in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade last Thursday!

Since working at Pioneer and graduating from U of M's Musical Theatre School, Marjorie has kept very busy dancing and choreographing on all sorts of productions. From 2010-2011, she was the Associate Choreographer and Dancer/Actress in the First National Tour of Broadway's 9 To 5!

Bob Lester Opening For Salt N Pepa!

Bob Lester (Sound Designer/Supervisor, 2007-2009), known as DJ Robert Lux, is opening for the band Salt N Pepa at the Best Buy Theater in New York, NY, on December 15, 2012!

Bob, formerly of local sensation Ella Riot/My Dear Disco, has been making a living by DJing, remixing, producing, and songwriting. He has also recently started collaborating and playing with the band Pegasus Warning.

Desi Oakley Cast In "Annie"

Desi Oakley (FutureStars 2009, 2010, & 2011 Director) has been cast in the Broadway revival of Annie, which opens this Thursday, 11/8! Desi recently finished her run in Wicked on Broadway.

Joe Zettelmaier's "The Gravedigger"

Joe Zettelmaier, our Student Productions Writing Mentor, has a staged reading of his newest play, "The Gravedigger", at 7pm on Sunday, October 28th, at the Performance Network in Ann Arbor.

Based on Mary Shelley's "Frankenstein", this spooky tale is directed by PTG staff-alum Julia Glander and counts PTG staff-alum Alex Leydenfrost among the cast!

Alex Finke Cast In "Anything Goes"

Alex Finke (The Phantom of the Opera Director), has been cast as the ingenue lead, Hope, in the National Touring Company of the Broadway revival of Cole Porter's Anything Goes! The show made its premiere in Cleveland on October 2nd, 2012.

Robert Hartwell Cast In "Nice Work"

Robert Hartwell (Urinetown Director), got cast last spring in the brand-new musical comedy, Nice Work If You Can Get It starring Matthew Broderick on Broadway! He is playing in the ensemble and is a featured dancer. Robert recently finished this run performing in Memphis on Broadway as well.
